For Many years before that life changing day in August of 2005 Delta Cabinetry produced only top quality custom cabinets, and supplied cabinet doors to cabinet shops in a 5 state area. On August 29th of 2005 hurricane Katrina ravished our beloved city. Upon returning to work there were many uncertainties. Around November of the same year one thing began to be more, and more certain. That certainty was in the fact that no matter how hard we tried, and how many employees we hired. We could not even come close to fulfilling the demand for cabinetry needed in the City of New Orleans as rebuilding began. We realized that drastic measures had to be taken. We studied, and researched possibilities for weeks and weeks. We decided that the only way to meet the demand was to call upon the assistance of our big brother (The USA). Our objective was to find a national manufacturer that could deliver a quality product, in a timely manner without errors, and damage free products on a consistent basis. We also sought a manufacturer that was generally under represented in the Gulf States. We knew that any manufacturers with proper representation in the Gulf States area would be too busy to accommodate us, and the stringent demands that we put on all of our suppliers so that we can pass that quality, and savings on to you, our customer. After weeks and weeks of research, calling current national distributors for references, calling all the major national associations, and talking with everyone who is someone in the Kitchen and Bath business on a national level, we found our company! The research project exhausted our researchers. Thus in the end they were 100% convinced that HomeCrest was the company we had been looking for. We researched hundreds of options, and there were many national companies that were promising the world to get their foot in the door on the ground floor of what would inevitably be a golden opportunity for them. We took a different approach. While we listened to what the manufacturers representatives had to say about their companies, we listened more to the current customers, distributors, associations, forums, truck drivers, and every other non-beneficial third party we could get to talk. HomeCrest, as a whole and their impeccable track record came to the top of every one of our lists with flying colors. Now, it is over 1 year later, and we could not be happier with the entire relationship we have developed with them. Every installer, and every consumer has provided 100% positive feedback on every Homecrest product that we have ever installed. Averaging 3-7 kitchens per week for the past year, we have not had a single damaged cabinet delivered to us. Homecrest uses a unique shipping method, which includes a cycle truck. The products are put on their truck in Goshen Indiana, and they do not come off the truck until they are at our dock here in New Orleans. Many other companies ship via common carrier, and the products are offloaded, and reloaded several times before getting to their final destination. This lends itself to a much higher probability of damage occurring and parts missing. You will find that most of the cabinet distributors carry several different lines of cabinetry. Did you ever think about why that would be? First, It seems that they must not believe whole-heartedly in any one of the lines they carry. Second, The brands they carry must not be versatile enough to accommodate the majority of consumers needs. Third, it seems they must have problems from time to time with some of their manufacturers. We work with a different philosophy. We have found a company that has everything we can imagine wanting to offer. They are consistent, they are versatile, and they are as dedicated to us, as we are to them. We believe in Homecrest and we are proud to have them as our exclusive manufacturer. Homecrest has exceeded our every expectation. If it is not broken, then there is no reason to be fixing it. Thank You HomeCrest! And thank you from the resilient people of New Orleans who stand in one voice to proclaim, We will rebuild it bigger, and better than it ever was.
